On the afternoon of June 25, 2024, the Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA) successfully held its 5th General Assembly (2024–2027). The assembly reviewed the 4th term's activities, set the 5th term's agenda, and elected the Executive Board and Inspection Committee for the next three years.

In the evening of the same day, VBMA hosted the 2023 Market Makers Awards and the Recognition Ceremony for active members' contributions during the 4th term. The event saw attendance from distinguished guests from government agencies, partner organizations, and numerous VBMA members.

At the ceremony, VBMA awarded the best FX Swap market makers of 2023. These prestigious awards, given annually since the introduction of the FX Swap Market Maker Agreement in 2021, acknowledge the contributions to developing the benchmark curve for USD/VND swaps. This curve serves as a reference for hedging products, enhancing liquidity in the FX Swap market, and diversifying interest rate products.

For 2023, the FX Swap Market Maker Agreement awards included two categories: Highest Trading Volume Market Maker and Best Quote Market Maker.
