Announcement on the Government Bond Auction plan for the 4th Quarter 2024

On October 09 2024, Vietnam State Treasury (VST) issued Letter No. 5732/KBNN-QLNQ stipulating the Government Bond Auction Plan for Quarter 4 - 2024 by tenors.
The total planned issuance amount in Q3.2024 is VND 128,000 billion, including the following tenors:

Year to date, the State Treasury issued VND 283,360 billion of Government bonds across various tenors from 5 to 30 years, completing about 70.8% of the 2024 plan of VND 400,000 billion.
The winning value of 10-year and 15-year bonds are the largest with VND 165,430 and VND 65,859 billion issued, respectively, accounting for about 81% of the total value since the beginning of 2024. 5-year bonds come in third with VND 38,850 billion.
In the fourth quarter, VND 11,689 billion of Government bonds was issued, equivalent to 9.1% of the Q4 plan.
