Announcement on the Government Bond Auction plan for the 2nd Quarter 2024

On April 24th 2024, Vietnam State Treasury (VST) issued Letter No. 2064/KBNN-QLNQ stipulating the Government Bond Auction Plan for Quarter 2 - 2024 by tenors.
The total planned issuance amount in Q2.2024 is VND 120,000 billion, including the following tenors:

Year to date, the State Treasury issued VND 102,975 billion of Government bonds across various tenors from 5 to 30 years, completing about 25.7% of the 2024 plan of VND 400,000 billion.
The winning value of 10 and 15-year bonds are the largest with VND 39,639 and VND 33,751 billion issued, respectively, accounting for about 71.3% of the total value since the beginning of 2024. 5-year bonds come in third with VND 23,750 billion.
Regarding the second quarter, VND 22,746 billion of Government bonds was issued, equivalent to 19% of the Q2 plan.
