Government Bond Auction Result on April 29, 2025

On April 29th, 2025, the State Treasury called for bidding a total of 12,000 on Government bonds, including 5-year (VND 5,000 billion), 10-year (VND 6,000 billion), 15-year (VND 500 billion), and 30-year bonds (VND 500 billion).
While 5-year bonds were sold out, none of the 30-year bonds were sold. The winning ratios of 10-year and 15-year bonds were 84% and 12%, respectively.
In addition, the winning interest rate for 5-year and 10-year tenor rose compared to the previous week by 5 bps and 2 bps, respectively. Meanwhile, the 15-year tenor remained unchanged at 3.1%

Year to date, the State Treasury issued approximately VND 152,867 billion of Government bonds across various tenors from 5 to 30 years, completing about 30.6% of the 2025 plan of VND 500,000 billion.
The winning value of 10-year and 5-year bonds are the largest with VND 132,039 and VND 14,200 billion issued, respectively, accounting for about 95.7% of the total value since the beginning of 2025. 15-year bonds come in third with VND 4,700 billion.
So far in the second quarter, VND 42,427 billion of Government bonds was issued, equivalent to 35.4% of the Q2 plan.
