Government Bond Auction Result on January 22, 2025

On January 22nd, 2025, the State Treasury called for bidding a total of 12,000 on Government bonds, including 5-year (VND 500 billion), 10-year (VND 7,500 billion), 15-year (VND 3,000 billion) and 20-year bonds (VND 500 billion)
While none of the 5-year bonds were sold, the 20-year bonds were sold out. The winning ratios of 10-year, 15-year and 30-year bonds were 88%, 51% and 5%, respectively.
In addition, while the winning interest rate for 10-year tenor increased by 4 bps to 2.83%, 15-year and 30-year tenor winning interest rate remained unchanged at 2.98% and 3.25%, respectively.

Year to date, the State Treasury issued approximately VND 15,982 billion of Government bonds across various tenors from 5 to 30 years, completing about 3.2% of the 2025 plan of VND 500,000 billion.
The winning value of 10-year and 15-year bonds are the largest with VND 12,816 and VND 2,360 billion issued, respectively, accounting for about 95% of the total value since the beginning of 2025.
