On June 21, 2023, the State Treasury called for bidding a total of  VND 5,000 billion of Government bonds, including 10-year bond (VND 2,250 billion), 15-year (2,250 billion) and 30-year (500 billion).

The 10 and 15-year bonds all sold out. The 30-year bond's winning volume was VND 250 billion. The total winning value of June 21 is 95%, equivalent to VND 4,750 billion.

The winning interest rate for all the auctioned tenors decreased compared to the previous one, specifically, the winning rate for the 10-year bond decreased by 25bps, 15-year bond decreased by 20bps and 30-year bond decreased by 15bps. 

Year to date, the State Treasury issued VND 173,642 billion of Government bond across various tenors from 5 to 30 years, completing 43.4% this year’s plan of VND 400,000 billion.

Winning value of 10 and 15-year bond was largest with VND 67,599 and VND 77,553 billion issued, respectively, accounting for nearly 84% of total value issued since the beginning of 2023. 5-year bond comes in third with VND 21,349 billion. The State Treasury has plans to raise VND 30,000 billion from 3-year bond this year but so far has not offer this tenor for bidding.
