Government Bond Auction Result on February 19, 2025

On February 19th, 2025, the State Treasury called for bidding a total of 13,000 on Government bonds, including 5-year (VND 500 billion), 10-year (VND 11,000 billion), 15-year (VND 1,000 billion) and 30-year bonds (VND 500 billion).
None of the 5-year & 15-year bonds were sold. The winning ratio of 10-year and 30-year bonds was 91% and 37%, respectively.
In addition, the winning interest rate for 10-year and 30-year tenor all increased by 3 bps to 2.97% and 3.28%, respectively.

Year to date, the State Treasury issued approximately VND 45,001 billion of Government bonds across various tenors from 5 to 30 years, completing about 9% of the 2025 plan of VND 500,000 billion.
The winning value of 10-year and 15-year bonds are the largest with VND 40,816 and VND 2,660 billion issued, respectively, accounting for about 96.6% of the total value since the beginning of 2025. 30-year bonds come in third with VND 925 billion.
