Government Bond Auction Result on November 13th, 2024

On November 13th, 2024, the State Treasury called for bidding a total of VND 11,000 billion on Government bonds, including 5-year (VND 3,000 billion), 10-year (VND 6,000 billion), 15-year (VND 1,500 billion) and 30-year bonds (VND 500 billion). None of the 15-year and 30-year bonds were sold and the winning rates of 5-year and 10-year bonds were 40% and 83%, respectively.
In addition, while winning interest rate for 5-year tenor increased by 1 bps, 10-year tenors winning interest rate remained unchaged, equivalent to 2.66%.

Year to date, the State Treasury issued approximately VND 314,545 billion of Government bonds across various tenors from 5 to 30 years, completing about 78.6% of the 2024 plan of VND 400,000 billion.
The winning value of 10-year and 15-year bonds are the largest with VND 188,910 and VND 65,859 billion issued, respectively, accounting for about 81% of the total value since the beginning of 2024. 5-year bonds come in third with VND 45,370 billion.
So far in the fourth quarter, VND 42,874 billion of Government bonds was issued, equivalent to 33.5% of the Q4 plan.
