Government Bond Auction Result on September 11th, 2024

On September 11th, 2024, the State Treasury called for bidding a total of VND 14,150 billion on Government bonds, including 5-year (VND 500 billion), 7-year (VND 500 billion), 10-year (VND 9,000 billion), 15-year (VND 3,500 billion) and 30-year bonds (VND 650 billion). While 10-year bonds were sold out, none of the 5-year bonds were sold.The winning rates of 7-year, 15-year and 30-year bonds were 33%, 96% and 95%, respectively.
In addition, the winning interest rate for 10-year, 15-year and 30-year tenors remained unchanged, equivalent to 2.71%, 2.9% and 3.1%.

Year to date, the State Treasury issued VND 253,991 billion of Government bonds across various tenors from 5 to 30 years, completing about 63.5% of the 2024 plan of VND 400,000 billion.
The winning value of 10-year and 15-year bonds are the largest with VND 143,051 and VND 60,659 billion issued, respectively, accounting for about 80.2% of the total value since the beginning of 2024. 5-year bonds come in third with VND 38,150 billion.
During third quarter, VND 97,489 billion of Government bonds was issued, equivalent to 65% of the Q3 plan.
