Government Bond Auction Result on October 9th, 2024

On October 9th, 2024, the State Treasury called for bidding a total of VND 14,000 billion on Government bonds, including 5-year (VND 500 billion), 10-year (VND 10,500 billion), 15-year (VND 2,500 billion) and 30-year bonds (VND 500 billion). While none of the 5-year bonds were sold, the winning rates of 10-year, 15-year and 30-year bonds were 73%, 12% and 52%, respectively.
In addition, 10-year, 15-year and 30-year tenors winning interest rate remained unchaged, equivalent to 2.66%, 2.86% and 3.1%.

Year to date, the State Treasury issued VND 283,360 billion of Government bonds across various tenors from 5 to 30 years, completing about 70.8% of the 2024 plan of VND 400,000 billion.
The winning value of 10-year and 15-year bonds are the largest with VND 165,430 and VND 65,859 billion issued, respectively, accounting for about 81% of the total value since the beginning of 2024. 5-year bonds come in third with VND 38,850 billion.
During third quarter, VND 115,169 billion of Government bonds was issued, equivalent to 76.8% of the Q3 plan.
