On December 31st 2021, Vietnam State Treasury (VST) issued Letter No. 7309/KBNN-QLNQ regarding Government Bond Auction Plan Announcement in 2022. Specifically, VST made an announcement on Government Bond Auction Plan in 2022 with the total offering value of VND 400.000 billion, tenors from 5 years to 30 years.

VST made an announcement on Government Bond Auction Plan in the first quarter of 2022 with the total offering value of VND 105.000 billion. The offering values by tenors are 5-year tenor: VND 5.000 billion, 7-year tenor: VND 5.000 billion, 10-year tenor: VND 35.000 billion, 15-year tenor: VND 40.000 billion, 20-year tenor: VND 10.000 billion, 30-year tenor: VND 10.000 billion. 

Since the beginning of the year, the total value of G-bonds issued has reached 15.6% of the plan for Quarter 1/2022 and 4.1% of the plan for 2022. Specifically, the issuing values of the 10, 15, 20 and 30-year tenors are VND 7,067 billion (reaching 20.2% of the Q1 plan), VND 5,250 billion (reaching 13.1% of the Q1 plan), VND 1,085 billion (reaching 10.9% of the Q1 plan) and VND 3,000 billion (reaching 30% of the Q1 plan), respectively.
