From September 10 to 13, 2025, in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, representatives of VBMA attended the ASF AGM 2025 with the theme: The Future of Asian Capital Markets – Digitalization and Sustainability. The VBMA representatives presented about the Vietnamese bond market. VBMA will jointly coordinate with the Vietnam Association of Securities Business (VASB) to co-organize the ASF Annual Conference 2026 in Hanoi.

ASF is a forum of Securities Business Associations in the Asia-Pacific region. ASF was established in 1995 with the main purpose of sharing information and insights about stock markets in Asia, as well as promoting the development of these markets and economic growth in the region, enhancing the spirit of solidarity and sharing cooperative experiences among associations in the region. Currently, ASF has 32 members from 30 countries. VBMA became an official member of ASF in 2011 and is the 16th member of ASF.
