The Interbank Offsite 2019

The 11th Interbank Offsite event was started with the workshop on Future of Investment and Trading in Vietnam financial markets. The workshop was held in the afternoon of June 21 2019 with the participation of over 300 people. There were 3 sessions in the workshop that were: (i) Web based Open Platform for Treasury (ii) the impact of Basel applying in the regions and in Vietnam (iii) Market outlook from now until the end of 2019.

A hive of funny and meaningful activities for networking, strengthening unity amongst members of our interbank and financial market were held on June 22, 2019. Those activities will include the traditional Interbank Tennis Tournament 2019, the VBMA – Saxo Market Interbank Golf Tournament 2019, the Poker game, the friendly football matches, and Workshop “Lifestyle for financial market professionals”

The Gala Dinner definitely was networking festival for Interbank community. At the Gala Dinner, VBMA presented awards to thank you to all sponsors of this year event. The prizes for the winners of sport activities were given. There was also fun game during the gala as well as lucky draws. VBMA members participated to auction a number of memorable items in a charity activity during the Gala Dinner to build preschools in Coc Re commune, Xin Man district, Ha Giang province. Total of VND 160,500,001 has been raised through the live auction and silence auction, Poker tournament’s contribution and the donation from Mr. Dao Huu Thanh- VPBank.

These activities in this Interbank Offsite greatly helped enhance the solidarity between financial markets players and created good conditions for networking and experience-sharing. Also this was an excellent opportunity for the interbank community to support people in difficulties
